I am living at the foothills of Mount Olympus, the home of the Greek gods, next to Mount Pelion with the Centaurs and close to Litochoro village with the strange, still-unexplained phenomena and the exceptional Aegean Sea. Inevitably, I grew up with the Greek myths and legends (and, oh my God!!! Greek mythology is vast and fascinating!). On the other hand, the marvels of Ancient Greek Technology and all those ancient Greek inventors like Archimedes and Heron inspired me to become a mechanical engineer.
The inspiration of this book came to me when a Greek summer wind stumbled on the clear sea waters of Velika, Thessaly. The very first lines of the book describe the stormy sea of that day!
I dreamed of a novel with a harmonious blend of adventure and Greek elements of mythology, tradition and history along with science fiction, aliens and alien technology. It is engaging and fascinating, with the Greek identity beyond doubt.
