Christopher is a “next-door” Greek-American teenager spending his summer holidays in Greece.
A weird, silent boatman transfers him through one of the Myriad Rivers (ruled by Hades, the god of Death) somewhere in the Aegean Sea, straight to a summer camp of Ionian teenagers who are aliens from Planet Ion.
Christopher will find out about his mysterious birth on Mount Olympus-the Mount of gods, and that he is half-Ionian. He is immersed in the campers’ way of life; he makes new friends and enemies. However, the camp is in danger.
The half-human, half-alien boy is the only one who can travel between the two worlds and at different times. He is the only one who can find Poseidon’s Charm which is the only way for the Ionians to open the galactic gate to their way home and escape a painful death.
This is the beginning of the most dangerous quest of Christopher’ life! Not having any clue where to search for the Charm, Christopher and his friends will travel in Delphi, Crete and Mycenae, in the present and in the past, where the heroes will many times put their lives in danger.
They will meet Pythia and the Centaurs, dance in a Cretan wedding, enjoy the sunset at Santorini, battle with Talos, Tritons and Lethe.
Christopher will be chased by the Apostate and the Cylonists. He will break the Chains of Time.
Although he has powerful enemies, he has true friends and the support of the eternal Gaia and exotic Aphrodite to help him during his difficult quest!
Will Christopher and his friends overcome the difficulties, beat the clock and bring Poseidon’s Charm to the Ionian camp?
Will they manage to save the Ionians from death?
